Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center

Amtrak, Metrolink, OCTA Bus Services Available

The Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center, also known as The Depot, was opened in 1985 on the site of the former Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway combination depot. The station is used by Amtrak’s Pacific Sunliner, and Metrolink’s Orange County and Inland Empire-Orange County lines and is a hub for Orange County Transit Authority bus lines. Greyhound and charter bus services along with airport shuttle and taxi services also use The Depot.

The 47,000 square foot facility houses the Santa Ana Work Center offering job and workforce development services and has conference rooms, a decorative lobby, and beautifully landscaped courtyard available for rent.

In the future, The Depot will serve as the terminus of the first leg of an ambitious OC Streetcar project intended to broaden the reach of Orange County’s Metrolink service by providing options to get to and from your final destination.

The exterior and interior of the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center can be seen in movies such as Rain Man, and more recently in the season finale of HBO’s hit series, True Detective.
